MANILA – The 2025 PHILRACOM 4YO & Above Imported/Local Challenge Series 1 race took place on 26 January 2025, at the Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. (MMTCI) in Malvar, Batangas. The race boasted a guaranteed total prize of PHP500,000.00, further highlighting the prestige of the competition.

Andiamo A Firenze solidifies his reputation as a top contender from start to finish, guided by Jockey Jeffril T.  Zarate, the talented runner who unleashed a well-timed surge in the final stretch to secure the top prize of PHP 300,000.00. Owned by Joseph Dyhenco and co-owned by Felizardo Sevilla Jr., with Dante Salazar as his trainer, Andiamo A Firenze displayed remarkable speed and endurance to dominate the race.

Coming in second was Mano Dura, ridden by Jockey Kelvin B. Abobo, who fought hard but fell short of the winner’s stride. Velvet Haze, with Jockey Pablito M. Cabalejo aboard, finished in third place, while Daily Burn, guided by Jockey Patricio R. Dilema, secured fourth. Perfect Delight rounded out the field.
