PHILRACOM’s 3rd Leg Set to Crown a Champion!

MANILA – The Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM) is proud to announce the highly anticipated 3rd Leg of the 2025 Triple Crown Stakes Race, set to electrify horse racing fans on Sunday, 13 July 2025, at the prestigious Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. (MMTCI). With a staggering total guaranteed gross prize of PHP 3,500,000.00, this leg promises a spectacular display of speed, strategy, and sheer determination with a 2000-meter race distance.

All eyes will undoubtedly be on Vinalot Eyu, the sensational horse who has already captivated the racing world by clinching both the 1st and 2nd legs of this year’s Triple Crown. Bred and owned by the esteemed Melaine C. Habla, Vinalot Eyu, under the expert guidance of jockey Mark Angelo T. Alvarez. Stands on the extraordinary achievement – a clean sweep of the Triple Crown, a feat last accomplished by the legendary Heneral Kalentong in 2020. Can Vinalot Eyu etch his name into the annals of Philippine horse racing as the next Triple Crown Champion?

The field, however, is packed with formidable contenders, each ready to challenge Vinalot Eyu’s dominance. Among the strong lineup is Constatic Offer, bred and owned by Antonio V. Tan Jr., who will be ridden by the jockey Patricio R. Dilema. Also poised to make a significant impact is Transform, a powerful entry from Herminio S. Esguerro, with jockey Jeffril T. Zarate in the irons.

Adding further excitement to the race are several other promising horses: Cole Is Right, bred by Joseph Dyhengco, owned by Nicomendez G. Cruz, and to be ridden by Jeffrey B. Bacaycay. Also in the lineup are District One, bred and owned by The SC Stockfarm Inc., with John Alvin Guce aboard; He’s So Fine, bred by Antonio V. Tan, owned by James T. Sevilla, and ridden by JM Estorque; Marvelous Maxinne, bred by Joseph Dyhengco, owned by Aldrich C. Tan, and with Mark Angelo B. Pilapil as jockey; and Midnight Bell, owned by Bell Racing Stable, bred by Elmer Thomas C. De Leon, and ridden by Jonathan B. Hernandez.

Further intensifying the competition is a compelling couple entry from Rancho Santa Rosa, Inc., both bred by Melaine C. Habla: Coming Earli with jockey Mart M. Gonzales, and Parade King with John Paul A. Guce.

Beyond the main event, the day’s racing program will also feature two other significant stakes races, adding to the excitement for racing enthusiasts. These include the 3rd Leg Hopeful Stakes Race, covering a distance of 2000 meters with a total guaranteed prize of PHP 1,500,000.00, and the 3rd Leg 3YO Locally Bred Stakes Race, also contested over 2000 meters, offering a total guaranteed prize of PHP 1,000,000.00.
