MANILA – The 2025 PHILRACOM 4YO & Above Imported/Local Challenge Series 1 is set to take place on Sunday, 26 January, 2025, at the Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. (MMTCI) in Malvar, Batangas. The 1600-meter will feature six highly competitive 4-year-old and above imported and local horses, all vying for a share of the PHP500,000 guaranteed gross prize, with a Breeder’s Purse of PHP50,000 for grabs. The horses will race under a 54-56kg handicap weight.

This thrilling 1600-meter race will feature a spectacular showcase of equine talent, pitting the best local and imported thoroughbreds against one another including Andiamo A. Firenze (Speightstown – My Every Wish), owned by Felizardo R. Sevilla, Jr and will be ridden by Zeffril T. Zarate, Daily Burn (Amrican Pharoah – Streaking Comet), owned by Swakto Elite Fitness Inc. and will be ridden by Patricio R. Dilema, Eutychus (Ultimate Goal – Boca Pista), owned by George R. Raquidan and will be ridden by Marlon P. Cañete, Mano Dura (Keen Ice – Bene Pista), owned by Dennis tan and will be ridden by Kelvin B. Abob, Perfect Delight (Amerian Pharoah – Nevis), owned by Luis Angelo L. Sevilla and will be ridden by John Allyson T. Pabilic, and lastly Velvet Haze (Spieth – Omniscient), owned by Cesar G. Avila, Jr and will be riiden by Pablito M. Cabalejo.
