MANILA– The Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM) participated in the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) VibeRun: Takbo para sa mga Servant-Heroes on September 1, 2024. This event marked the beginning of the month-long celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

Held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, the VibeRun brought together thousands of runners from various government agencies, including PHILRACOM. The event aimed to foster camaraderie among government employees, promote physical fitness, and raise funds for the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLB) Program, which provides financial assistance to the families of civil servants who have died in the line of duty.

PHILRACOM’s participation in the VibeRun underscores its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being and unity of government employees.

The VibeRun is just one of the many activities lined up for the 124th PCSA celebration. This year’s theme, “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” emphasizes the importance of sustainable management and the role of government employees in achieving a future-ready civil service.

PHILRACOM remains dedicated to its mission of promoting and regulating the horse racing industry in the Philippines while actively participating in initiatives that support the broader goals of the Philippine civil service.
