The Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM) collaborates with other major government agencies as we participate in the "KABISIG PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT EXPO & TRADE FAIR 2014" at the Events Center , SM City Fairview on June 16-20, 2014.

Now on our second year of active participation in the KABISIG Program since we participated last September 2013, the PHILRACOM takes pride to once again showcase to the general public and to the other participating government agencies significant highlights on the horseracing industry's profile; its Plans & Programs; including other noble projects and achievements.


jockeys day 2014 186The 2014 recently elected leaders of the New Philippine Jockey's Association, Inc. (NPJAI) took their pride as they presented to the racing industry the much awaited "8th Annual Jockeys' Day Cup" held last May 11, 2014 at the Philippine Racing Club, Inc.-SCLP in Naic, Cavite.

Highlights of the racing festivity were the three (3) PHILRACOM Sponsored Cup Races with guaranteed prizes of two (2) P150,000.00 and one (1) P200,000.00 to the winner only.

DSC 0224The newly elected officers of the Philippine Race Horse Trainer's Association, Inc. (PRHTAI) commencing April 16, 2014 took their Oath of Office before Honorable Chairman Angel L. Castaño, Jr.. Other honorable Members of the Commission Board present were: Hon. Eduardo B. Jose, Hon. Lyndon Noel B. Guce, Hon. Reynaldo G. Fernando, Hon. Victor V Tantoco and Hon. Commissioner/Executive Director Jesus B. Cantos.

DSC 0275The Regional Emergency Assistance Communications Team (REACT) - Phils., an outstanding civic organization rendering assistance for public welfare particularly in rapid information gathering and dissemination especially in times of emergencies and calamities, recently revitalized its partnership with the Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM).

The "Local Breeding Industry" for the thouroughbred horses in the Philippines produced more Foals in 2012 as reported by the "Stud Book Division" of the Philracom being headed by Dr. Jose Noel C. Danao, DVM and his team composed of Veterinary Doctors Armando Escalante, Ramon B. Calinap, Ena R. Masigon ably supported with the lean but mean team of Marianette S. Birondo, VIcente A. Brillantes and Jennifer L. Montenegro.
