"Handicapping Committee" at work

To ensure a continuous improvement "KAIZEN" (Japanese culture) on process being applied to the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Handicap Races, the Handicapping Committee meets every Tuesdays of the week at PHILRACOM Board Room from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.. Technical adjustments based on recent performances of horses on their Handicap Race groupings (not class division groupings) are being applied by this multi-sectoral repreented body (Two Race Clubs' Handicappers, Trainers, Horse Owners Organizations, PHILRACOM Handicappers, and Invited observers). The Handicapping Committee is being chaired by Hon. Comm. Lyndon Guce and ably supported by Hon. Comm. Eyo Fernando.

Policy matters are tackled right after each technical session part for the necessary adjustments, rules and regulation sensitive changes that will be elevated to the PHILRACOM Board of Commissioners if ever there will be Resolutions that needs to be enacted.

This method of systematic changes will make the Handicap Races be the delight of racing afficionados full of fairness, transparency, and responsiveness on the part of PHILRACOM.
